Made it to Paris

A little bubbly before dinner.

Vin rouge – sidewalk cafe

9Pm and having some vin rouge from a jug in the back.

Spent the day walking around and getting the lay of the land. A small snack at 6pm before going to dinner at 9. Tomorrow we are taking a 4 hour French Sauces Class. Watch out Laguna, we’ll be saucing everything when we get back. BTW, the wine is a 2014 Pinot Noir – earthy, mellow and a pleasure to sip.

    1. Gusset non vintage. It is a small vineyard but it produces excellent wines. The bottle is about $60 – a bit pricey but a nice surprise for an airline.
